Vacature Internship Movement Scientist
Go Ahead Eagles is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Movement Scientist intern to strengthen the first team Performance department. To ensure optimal physical preparation, GPS and heart-rate data is acquired during training sessions and matches. This information is used to evaluate and possibly adapt the training load in real-time and over the long term.
Go Ahead Eagles is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Movement Scientist intern to strengthen the first team Performance department. To ensure optimal physical preparation, GPS and heart-rate data is acquired during training sessions and matches. This information is used to evaluate and possibly adapt the training load in real-time and over the long term.
Activities during the internship will consist of:
- Supporting the Performance staff in data collection and monitoring during training sessions
- Conducting periodic strength and conditioning tests
- Identifying new developments related to physical performance in the literature
- Your own graduation research project
The internship will offer an opportunity to gain experience in a first-team environment with supervision of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as an internship allowance. The internship is for a period of 5 months and consists of 3-5 days per week, starting in January 2025 (days per week and exact starting date to be discussed).
